Software Engineer, Space Telescope Science Institute, Baltimore MD

There is a LISP job opening at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore MD for an early to mid level software engineer.  The job involves the development of planning and scheduling engines for use on multiple NASA missions including the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes.

For more information go to   http://www.stsci.edu/institute/employment and look at the entry for job requisition number 10-0007.

Job wanted: Russia or telecommute

I am russian, 20 years, a student of MSU, chemical departament. I
work in quantum chemistry, but Lisp is my hobby, I like it very much.
But in Russia lisp jobs are exotic. I have been played with it in
about three years, now doing an one-person opensource project – neural
network simulator. Had a tight contact with Scheme, studied SICP with
interest. Before meeting lisp I contacted with shell, perl, C and some
others. I use linux/freebsd and like the unix way.

I search for an interesting lisp job, which could be doing through
internet, not in the office, cause I’m not going to leave Russia now.
If the job is concerned with some applications of AI, it will be
great.
